Visiting a new church can be a little intimidating. We'd love to make your visit with us as stress-free as possible. Here's what you can expect on any given Sunday.
The morning begins with an informal fellowship time in the Gym at 10:00 am where fresh brewed coffee and doughnuts are served.
Our worship service begins at 10:30 am in the sanctuary. We're an informal bunch, so wear what you'd like: anything goes, from dresses, slacks, and a tie, to shorts and a t-shirt. If you have kids, you'll want to check them in at the Welcome Center. There, they'll receive a sticker that will help us make sure they get back to you at the end of the service!
We have a nursery for infants through age 2. Kids ages 3-4 have their class that meets on the upper level of our building for the entire service. Meanwhile, school-age kids will worship with us until the Children's Moment, when they'll be dismissed to their age-appropriate teaching time.
Of course, if you'd rather have your child stay with you, that's completely fine with us. We love having kids in the service!
The service itself usually lasts about an hour. Our worship band will lead us in four to five contemporary worship songs. We'll receive an offering after, but don't feel pressured to give.
Shortly after that, Pastor Jason will lead a small conversation about the week's Bible passage with the children at the front of the sanctuary. It's from there that the kids will head to their class. We'll then hear the Bible passage for the week, followed by a sermon. Usually, there will be a time of response at the end of the service, either we receive the Lord's Supper, or we'll sing one final song while we pray and reflect on the week's passage.
After the service, we are sent out into our community to participate with God in his mission of redemption and restoration.
And that's it! We hope you'll join us this week for worship!
